Sentence: Definition :-

⭐⭐⭐ Sentence : দুই বা ততােধিক শব্দ (word) লগ-লাগি কোনাে এটা সম্পূর্ণ অর্থ প্রকাশ কৰিলে তাক Sentence বােলে। ( A sentence is a group of words giving a full meaning.) যেনে -

There was a king in Ayodhya.

Rita's father is a teacher.

What do you want from me?

Please help me with some money.

⭐⭐⭐ কেতিয়াবা Imperative (আদেশ) Mood অত এটা word ও এটা sentence হ'ব পাৰে। যেনে -

Do. (You do).

Go. (You go)

এনেকুৱা Sentence অত Subject টো সাধাৰণতে You হয় আৰু ই উহ্য থাকে।

    The 5 kinds of Sentence :-

⭐⭐⭐ Kinds of Sentences : অর্থ (Meaning) বা উদ্দেশ্য (purpose) অনুসৰি Sentence ক পাঁচ ভাগত ভগাব পাৰি। যেনে -

1. Assertive or Statement or Declarative
     Sentence

2. Interrogative Sentence

3. Imperative Sentence

4. Exclamatory Sentence

5. Optative Sentence

Assertive Sentence : যি sentence অৰ দ্বাৰা কোনাে ব্যক্তি, বস্তু, ঘটনা আদিৰ বর্ণনা দিয়া হয়, তাক Assertive Sentence বোলে। যেনে -

Abdul Kalam is called the missile man.

A pen is mightier than a sword.

The Sepoy Mutiny took place in 1857.

⭐⭐⭐ Assertive Sentence অৰ শেষত Full stop(.) ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয় ।

Imperative Sentence : যি Sentence অৰ দ্বাৰা কোনাে আদেশ (order), উপদেশ (advice), অনুৰােধ (request) আদি প্রকাশ কৰা হয়, তাক Imperative Sentence বােলে। যেনে—

Do the work at once.

Respect your elders.

Please open the door.

Interrogative Sentence : যি Sentence অৰ দ্বাৰা কোনাে প্রশ্ন (question) সােধা হয়, তাক Interrogative Sentence বােলে। যেনে—

What class do you read in?

Do you know how to drive a car?

Is he happy today?

Which place do you belong to?

⭐⭐⭐ Interrogative Sentence অৰ শেষত প্রশ্নবােধক (?) চিন দিয়া হয়।

Exclamatory Sentence : যি Sentence অৰ দ্বাৰা মনৰ আবেগ, অনুভূতি, উল্লাস, দুখ, আশ্চৰ্য্য আদি প্রকাশ কৰা হয়, তাক Exclamatory Sentence বােলা হয়। যেনে –

Hurrah, the Indian team has won the match!

Alas, the old lady has lost her purse!

What a beautiful scenery it is!

How intelligent the boy looks!

⭐⭐⭐ Exclamatory Sentence অৰ শেষত Note of Exclamation (!) ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয়।

Optative Sentence : যি Sentence অৰ দ্বাৰা মনৰ ইচ্ছা, আকাঙ্খা, কামনা, আশীর্বাদ, অভিশাপ আদি প্রকাশ কৰা হয়, তাক Optative Sentence বােলা হয়। যেনে -

May God bless you.

May the boy pass the examination.

May God destroy the traitor.
