Conditional Sentence :-সাধাৰণতে conditional sentence ৰ sub-ordinate clause বোৰ 'if' ৰে আৰম্ভ হয়৷ এনেধৰণৰ sentence ত principal clause/main clause ৰ tense ৰ ৰূপৰ ওপৰত নিৰ্ভৰ কৰি 'If' clause (sub-ordinate) ৰ ৰূপ নিৰ্ধাৰণ কৰা হয়৷ এনেধৰণৰ condition তিনি প্ৰকাৰৰ হ'ব পাৰে ।

The 3 Types of Conditonal :-

1. Probable Condition(সম্ভাব্য চৰ্ত) :- এনেকুৱা sentence ত if clause ৰ verb টো present tense ৰ হয় আৰু main clause ৰ verb টো future tense (shall/will) ব্যৱহাৰ কৰি লিখা হয়৷ যেনে-

If it rains, he (not play).

= If it rains, he will not play.

বৰষুণ দিলে তেওঁ নেখেলে ।

If I have time, I (go) to your place.

= If I have time, I shall go to your place.

সময় পালে মই তোমালোকৰ ঠাইত যাম ।

2. Improbable Condition(সম্ভাৱনাহীন চৰ্ত) :- এনেকুৱা sentence ত if clause ৰ verb টো past tense ৰ হয় আৰু main clause ৰ verb টো future in the past(should, would,could) ত লিখা হয়৷ যেনে-

If he had time, he (meet) you.

= If he had time, he would meet you.

সময় থাকিলে তেওঁ তোমাক লগ কৰিলেহেঁতেন ।

If he invited me, I (join) the party.

= If he invited me, I should join the party.

তেওঁ নিমন্ত্ৰণ জনালে মই ভোজত যোগদান কৰিলোহেঁতেন ।

3. Impossible Condition(অসম্ভৱ চৰ্ত) :- এনেকুৱা sentence ত if clause টো past perfect tense ত থাকে আৰু main clause টো future in the perfect অৰ্থাৎ should/would/could + have + verb(past participle) ৰূপ হয় । যেনে-

If he had known the matter, he (explain) us.

= If he had known the matter, he would have explained us.

যদি তেওঁ বিষয়টো জানিলেহেঁতেন আমাক কলেহেতেঁন ।

If the man had requested me, I (help) him.

= If the man had requested me, I should have helped him.

যদি মানুহজনে মোক অনুৰোধ কৰিলেহেঁতেন মই তেওঁক সহায় কৰিলোহেঁতেন ।
